OUR MISSION
Project Rise Above’s mission is simple: to expand the path of support for Warren County Veterans Court participants. Donations made to Project Rise Above are used to cover the cost of short-term or startup needs for the lifestyle necessities of participants. Necessities can include:
Transportation to and from court
Rent deposits
Clothing for employment purposes
Employment training certifications costs
Technical or advanced education tuition and fees
License and reinstatement fees
Family hardship expenses
Lost wages from employment disruption
When slowly getting a life back on track, speed bumps are expected – and veterans are no exception. While trying to focus on their treatment program, Warren County Veterans Court participants can be relieved of concerns pertaining to transportation, housing, and employment. We fill the gap left by limitations of other means of support.
